Ahead of the Super Bowl, where Apple is sponsoring the halftime show, Apple Music is offering new users three free months for a limited time.

If you’re thinking about switching from Spotify to Apple Music, there’s rarely been a better time. New Apple Music users are being given three months free for a limited time ahead of the Super Bowl, where Apple is the official sponsor of the halftime show.

The offer is available now through February 24, and new users must sign up before then to qualify. According to Apple, to receive the offer, it must be redeemed on “any new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, or Mac capable of running the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, or macOS, from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller.” Eligible audio accessories include AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, HomePod, HomePod mini, and Beats headphones and speakers.

It’s worth noting that while Apple’s official documentation on the offer doesn’t seem to mention Android phones, 9to5Mac quotes Apple as saying the offer can be redeemed “on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, or Android phone.” The move doesn’t leave Android users in the dust—even if Apple isn’t willing to advertise it.

Users will immediately start their three free months upon signing up for an individual or family plan, and can cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charges. Once the free trial is over, Apple Music currently costs $10.99 a month for the individual plan and $16.99 a month for the family plan, which allows for up to six users total.

The offer coincides with Apple’s sponsorship of the forthcoming Super Bowl halftime show featuring headliner and Puerto Rican megastar Bad Bunny. It also aims to highlight some of the new Apple Music features present in iOS 26, including offline lyrics support, lyrics translation (perfect for following along to Bad Bunny’s set list during the halftime show), playlist folders, pinned music in your library, and full-screen animated album art for the iPhone’s lock screen.
