Are Jennifer Aniston & Jim Curtis Getting Married?

Although many fans are eagerly anticipating Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis’s rumored wedding, their trip down the aisle is allegedly being put on pause.

According to a June 2 report from Star, a source revealed that the Friends star isn’t ready to say “I do” or move in with Curtis yet.

“Jen still sees Jim as the person she wants to grow old with, but right now there’s no room in her schedule for a wedding,” the source explained. “She wants it to be special and not rushed. Jen’s had to tell Jim in no uncertain terms, ‘I can’t marry you’ — not right now, anyway.”

Aniston’s decision to delay marrying Curtis has actually relieved most of her close friends. “It’s actually come as a relief to a lot of her friends who believed she was moving way too fast and needed to pump the brakes for her own good,” the insider added. “Nobody’s telling her to break up with Jim, but rushing down the aisle after barely a year of dating doesn’t make sense to a lot of folks in Jen’s orbit. It’s a classic case of too much, too soon.”

Plus, Aniston’s commitment to her career is another reason she’s hesitant to marry Curtis. The Emmy winner is busy with various film and TV commitments, including the Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show, as well as her haircare line, LolaVie, and she just isn’t ready to put that all on hold for another wedding.

“The wedding can wait,” says the source. “But many of these work projects cannot.”

This follows reports that Aniston considered cutting her Friends co-star, Lisa Kudrow, from the wedding guest list over recent comments she made.

In an interview with The Independent published on April 4, Kudrow reflected on feeling overshadowed by her more popular Friends co-stars, Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry.

“Nobody cared about me,” Kudrow, 62, recalled, adding that some at her talent agency referred to her as “the sixth Friend.” She said, “There was no vision for me, and no expectations about the kind of career I could have. There was just, like, ‘Boy, is she lucky she got on that show.’”

A month later, a source told RadarOnline that Kudrow’s comment upset the case. “Lisa swears she meant no harm by her comments—merely pointing out that her castmates were seen as bigger stars,” the insider stated.

“But the others, Jen especially, don’t see it that way,” the source continued. “They’re not happy with Lisa for stirring up drama and pushing this self-pitying narrative that reflects poorly on the rest of them.”

As a result, insiders alleged that Kudrow would be uninvited from Aniston and Curtis’s wedding. “Jennifer’s having a hard time narrowing down the guest list, but Lisa’s remarks have made it easier,” a separate insider insisted. “As of this moment, it’s highly unlikely she’ll make the cut.”

However, a representative for Aniston denied RadarOnline‘s claims.
