Open Art Lab: Stop by the Canby Library for an Open Art Lab with Audra on Wednesday, June 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Maker Lab. This event is open to all ages. All supplies will be provided for this event. Waivers are available at https://go.lincc.org/maker-lab-waivers

Bingo Action Coming: The District 63 firefighters will hold its 51st annual BINGO Night at the Donald Fire Station on Saturday, June 27, for dinner (5:30-6:30 p.m.) and Bingo (6:30 p.m.). The menu will include hamburgers or sausage dogs, chips and a drink for $7 and ice cream ($3) available as well. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $1 per game and $1 for each extra card.

Video Game Tourney: A video game tournament will be held for teens on Saturday, June 27, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Woodburn Public Library. Sign-ups are from noon to 12:30, with tournament play beginning about 12:30 p.m. Prizes for the top three finishers as well as free snacks and drinks.

LEGO D&D Creatures: Join Lee Hepler at the Canby Public Library Maker Lab on Saturday, June 27, for Lego D&D Creatures and Castles. This program is for ages 8+. This is a four hour D&D campaign from noon to 4 p.m. You must have a waiver on file to enter the Maker Lab at https://go.lincc.org/maker-lab-waivers

Border Collie Fun: The Border Collie International Performing Canine Team will be at the Woodburn Public Library on Tuesday, June 30, from 2 to 3 p.m. A team of rescued Border Collies entertain and educate through demonstrations of football, basketball, skits and world-class Frisbee tricks.

Amazon Rainforest: Explore the sights, sounds, and smells of an Amazon Rainforest with a visit to the Canby Public Library’s Willamette Room on Wednesday, July 1, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Oregon Coast Aquarium, Amazon Basin: An Adventure for the Senses, will take visitors on a special trip.

Adult Summer Crafts: The Woodburn Public Library will offer adult summer crafts on Thursday, July 2, and Thursday, Aug. 6. The fun begins at 2 p.m. and those interested should call 503-982-5262 to register. The July 2 event features pressed flower luminary, while Aug. 6 will feature mosaic stepping stone.

Calling Teen Chefs: The Woodburn Public Library will help teen chefs hone their craft on Mondays, July 6 and 20, at 2 p.m. On July 6, the dish will be vegetarian sushi; July 20 will feature cake pops. Learn new cooking skills during this event. Register by calling 503-982-5262.

Something For Teens: Teenagers will have plenty to see and do during the summer months at the Molalla Public Library.
These “Wild Wednesday” programs will be held on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon. Here’s the lineup:

Wednesday, July 15: Floral Bath Bombs
Wednesday, July 22: Mini Terrariums

Molalla Library Events: The Molalla Public Library will host a wide array of events for children and families this summer. They will be held on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon. Here’s the lineup:
Thursday, June 25: Rodeo
Thursday, July 2: Bee Amazed! (at Fox Park)
Thursday, July 9: Butterfly Storytime (at Fox Park)
Thursday, July 16: Cardboard City
Thursday, July 23: Jessa Campbell and the Saplings (at Fox Park)
Thursday, July 30: Reptile Man (at Clark Park)

Aurora Farmers Market: The Aurora Farmers Market has returned to downtown Aurora on Main and Second Street. The market runs the first and third Saturday of each month through September from 4 to 8 p.m. The market will feature local products, baked goods and crafts and more. Canby Farmers Market: The Canby Farmers Market will be held Saturdays through October in downtown Canby on North Holly Street. Local farmers, hand crafters, food artisans and nurseries are all a part of this regional attraction. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Molalla Farmers Market: Molalla’s Farmers Market will run through Sept. 24 every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Molalla Brewing Company at 180 Industrial Way in Molalla. The market will feature local fruit, vegetables, plant starts, meat, wine, soaps, and much more. Food carts are also on site.

National Night Out: Woodburn’s National Night out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, will once again see neighbors come together throughout the community to build connections, partnerships with law enforcement, and create safer neighborhoods. Let’s Celebrate: Celebrate Molalla will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Clark Park. There will be live music from Addie Rose (12:30 p.m.), NW Playboys (2:15 p.m.), and the Brady Goss Band (4:15 p.m.). The event will feature kids crafts and activities, artists, artisans, and more – more than 100 vendors, along with food trucks and a beer/wine garden.

SHOWS/FESTIVAL

Oregon Ren Faire: Huzzah, the Oregon Renaissance Faire has one last weekend of at the Clackamas County Event Center in Canby, Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28. Tickets are for specific days, so be aware. For more information, go to www.oregonfaire.com.

Canby’s ‘Slice’ Coming: The 2026 Slice of Summer concert series in Canby will once again be held at the gazebo in Wait Park in downtown. The shows will run from 6 to 8 p.m. every other Sunday. There will be food vendors at the park and attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets. Here’s who’s playing: June 28 – CHS Jazz Band (Jazz from our next big stars) & Special Guest; July 26 – Bridgetown Get Down (80-90s pop covers), Aug. 9 – Cherrytree Road (country/folk), Aug. 23 – Norman Sylvester (rhythm & blues).

Molalla Music Returns: This year’s Molalla Music in the Park series will run Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at Fox Park. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for the performances.
This year’s entertainment will be: Trent Beaver (June 30), Opera a la Cart (July 14), Timothy James (July 21), and Keenon Tichrob (July 28).
These shows are free and open to the public

Woodburn Music: The annual Music in the Park series in Woodburn will run every Tuesday evening, July 7 to Aug. 11. Food and beverages open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 6:30 p.m. This year’s musical offerings are: July 7 – Castletown – Celtic & Americana; July 14 – Rock n’ Rewind – 60’s & 70’s Rock ‘n Roll; July 21 – Roundhouse Band – Country & Bluegrass; July 28 – Jon Deshler’s Tune Tours – Jazz; Aug. 4 – The Boneheads – Classic Rock; and Aug. 11 – Big Plans – Blues.

Harefest Magic Is Back: Harefest, the “Mother of All Tribute Band Festivals,” returns to the fairgrounds in Canby for three days of rockin’ good fun July 16-18.
The year’s shows will feature 24 tribute bands repping the look and sound of such bands as RUSH, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Boston, Fleetwood Mac and many others. For more information, or to buy tickets, go to harefest.com.
