Ariana Grande gave her heart and soul into her portrayal of Galinda in both Wicked and Wicked: For Good
Ariana Grande has been thrust into the spotlight more than ever before after the success of Wicked and the second part of the film series Wicked: For Good.
Now that the filming process is done, the 32-year-old sensation is opening up on what filming some of those more vulnerable moments was like. When asked which scene still stayed with her nearly two years after filming wrapped. The Florida native recalled that she had no idea what the scene was going to look like filming it until she was watching it on the big screen.
Ariana’s moment of reflection comes as her loved ones reportedly have been concerned over her high stress levels during the Wicked: For Good press tour.

In an interview with Deadline, she revealed that the scene that impacted her most once filming wrapped.
“There is, of course, the door scene, where we are on either side of the door, which is something that just naturally happened in rehearsals. But the moment I think about is when Glinda tells Madame Morrible and The Wizard to use Nessarose [to lure Elphaba into a trap],” she revealed.
“I had no idea that shot was going to be what that shot is. That’s just something that Jon instinctively knew how to capture. Things like that are really surprising and not planned and beautiful and cosmic. You can have every storyboard in the world and not know how those things are going to happen on the day. Jon calls that “catching butterflies.” But wow, is this movie a tough one for Glinda,” she added.
Wicked: For Good came out in theaters on November 21 – one full year after the first film, Wicked, was released. Even though they hit theaters one year a part, the cast filmed the entire movie at the same time.
While Ariana, has enjoyed filming both movies, reports have surfaced that she has been struggling during the press tour of Wicked: For Good.
Family members and loved ones are allegedly “concerned” for the triple threat.
One told the Daily Mail, “Ariana did not handle [the press tour] well at all. It bothered her a lot — from the red carpet incident [in which a man tried to attack her] to what people were saying about her online. She can be very thin-skinned, and people commenting on how skinny she is was really troubling to her.”
“She is struggling right now. She’s not in a healthy place and she knows it. Everyone around her knows it. Her anxiety is through the roof. She over-exerted herself and the cracks started to show pretty quickly,” the family source told the Daily Mail.
