Ever since Arijit Singh announced his retirement from playback singing, people have felt there to be a gaping hole in the Bollywood music industry. He has been a part of some of the most iconic songs, but all eras must come to an end.

Arijit Singh, who has a private X account, posted and addressed his fans about all the upcoming music he may be releasing within the year.
“This message is just for my listeners. Please don’t read and swipe right now if you are not my listener — it’s a humble request. Hello beautiful people! I just want to tell you all that I love you. Thank you so much for your kindness in this ruthless world. Although I have stopped taking new assignments, the list of pending songs is not small, you know. I will have to complete a lot of songs.”
He admitted that just because he won’t be taking on new projects with playback singing doesn’t mean there isn’t something for fans.
He further added, “Don’t get involved in explaining things to people. How many times will you? There are so many unfinished songs; they are going to keep releasing until they are done. Maybe throughout this whole year. Maybe it will extend into next year too. Be peaceful. Try to get off this platform. Remove spike proteins from your body, leave 5G. Read, love, meditate. Jay Devi! Also, who knows what lies ahead?”
He may not be sure what exactly the future ventures hold for him but he is looking forward to whatever he may be doing. Amongst that is giving fans those unfinished songs that he has been working on for a while. It’ll be the last of the crumbs of Arijit as a playback singer.
