Ashley Iaconetti is confident in her parenting choices.
On Saturday, April 4, the Real Housewives of Rhode Island star, 38, shared a few photos of herself spending time with her two sons — Dawson, 4, and Hayden, 20 months — on her Instagram Stories while her husband, Jared Haibon, was busy visiting a friend in the hospital in Boston.
“I thought, let me take the kids to the Boston aquarium while he’s there,” Iaconetti wrote over a selfie with her kids. “I do not recommend doing this.”

In the next photo, her two boys could be seen peering over a large tank at the aquarium, with a plastic children’s leash connecting Hayden to the Bachelor in Paradise alum’s wrist.
“I have no shame in my toddler leash game,” she emphasized over the photo. “Dawson has an AirTag on. #safetyovershame.”

Iaconetti later took Dawson and Hayden to Chuck E. Cheese, noting that the iconic entertainment center is “still the best.”
“Pizza, wings, games, little rides, trampolines, and play zone all in one,” she wrote over a photo of the boys getting ready to go down a yellow slide. “Unlike a lot of play zones, everything is monitored and it’s small enough to keep your eyes on your kids without having to crawl into the tubes yourself.”
Iaconetti — who first rose to fame while appearing on The Bachelor in 2015, after which she met her husband during season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise — recently made her return to reality television as a core cast member in the inaugural season of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

“That was a learning curve for me because I think that I expected one thing and then had to settle into another,” she recently told PEOPLE of making the switch from Bachelor Nation to Bravo’s Housewives franchise. “But I’ve always felt pretty comfortable in front of the camera. I’ve never been like, ‘Oh, I have to shield that from the camera.’ I’ve never had that resistance to share my life.”
“I guess maybe that’s because nothing really hugely traumatic has happened to me, knock on so much wood. But there hasn’t been a ton that I felt like, ‘Oh, I’d like to not share this,’ ” she continued. “I love sharing motherhood on social media, I loved sharing my search for love via social media and, of course, The Bachelor.”
Despite her openness to sharing glimpses into motherhood online and her children’s occasional appearances on the Bravo reality show, Iaconetti said she wants to avoid putting her kids’ lives “out there too much.”
“In the little doses that we had on the show, Jared and I feel comfortable at this age,” she explained. “I think there are more ages that are more sensitive to it, but right now, we felt fine.”
