Ashley Tisdale is cashing in on her “toxic” mom group drama by signing on for a new comedy in development at Netflix.

The series, titled “Toxic Moms,” follows a new mom who gets involved with a clique of cool, wealthy mothers, reports Deadline.

However, soon the group of women reveal their darker side, making the mother ask herself: In the isolation of motherhood, how far would you go to taste community?

The “High School Musical” star, 41, is teaming up with comedian Sabrina Jalees and Ali Wong to create the half-hour show.

All three will be attached as executive producers. Should the project land a series order with the streamer, Jalees (whose other credits include “Mating Season” and “Search Party”) may be tapped to direct.

Tisdale confirmed the news via Instagram on Thursday, writing, “I guess we all can be a little toxic,” alongside a screenshot of Deadline’s story.

Reps for Netflix did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The show’s logline likely sounds familiar since it’s based on Tisdale’s real-life experience.

The actress shocked the internet when she kicked off 2026 by blasting her former “toxic” mom group friends — which internet sleuths were quick to reveal included fellow Hollywood moms like Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, and Meghan Trainor — in a bombshell essay published by New York Magazine’s The Cut.

In the article, she wrote that she had been cut out by the group and was excluded from events, leaving her with the idea that she was “not being cool enough” for the other moms.

When she finally decided to leave the clique, she wrote that she texted them: “This is too high school for me and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”

Soon after, several members of the group, including Duff’s husband Matthew Koma, responded by shading Tisdale over the essay.

One source even told Page Six Tisdale was “insufferable,” and added that the friend breakup had “been a long time coming.”

While there were several theories circulating around the internet about what caused the group’s friendship to fracture (which included one theory focused on Tisdale’s politics after she made a statement on Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s death), an insider exclusively shared in January that the reason can’t be pinned to one singular issue.

“It’s a myriad of things, not just one specific,” the source said.
