The company posted $1.29 billion in revenue, reflecting a decline of 1.39% year-over-year, but topped expectations by $19.08 million. However, the EPS of negative $0.24 missed the estimates by $0.02. AMC Chairman and CEO Adam Aron highlighted 2025 as a year of progress for the company amid a modestly recovering North American box office. Management noted that while the overall box office grew about 1.5% year-over-year, the company outperformed with total revenue up 4.6% and adjusted EBITDA rising nearly 13% compared to 2024. The success was attributed to operational improvements, portfolio optimization, and superior guest experiences.
B. Riley told investors in a research note that management has high expectations for fiscal Q1 2026, driven by a blockbuster-heavy 2026 lineup. The company projects an additional $500 million to $1 billion in box office revenue.
