Bad Bunny was in the house for Tuesday’s playoff game between the Yankees and Blue Jays, and … well, he didn’t do himself any favors when it comes to how the MAGA folks view him.
In fact, he stirred things up even more with the group which was already angry over his selection as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LX.
So, what did he do?
He remained seated during the singing of “God Bless America,” during the seventh inning stretch. TMZ reported that the crowd “mostly stood and sang” along with the song while the famous musicians sat in the front row.
And the folks who were already worked up about him getting the big game gig were not happy about that.
“Another talentless hack thinks disrespecting America is a career move,” the NahBabyNah account on X wrote. “Bad Bunny’s latest stunt during a playoff game? It’s a slap in the face to every true American. We don’t need this garbage; we need pride.”
“I am totally sick of Bad Bunny,” another person wrote on X.
“Shame on him,” another wrote. “Ingrate. Boycott the Super Bowl.”
“Great decision #NFL,” another wrote.
MAGA has been raging at the musician’s selection for the big game, even pitching the idea of having their own alternate halftime show. And, just this week, President Donald Trump weighed in on the 31 year old’s Super Bowl selection calling it “ridiculous.”
“I’ve never heard of him,” Trump said.
