Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Bad Bunny is on a hot streak.
He recently boosted Puerto Rico’s economy through his summer residency, co-starred with Adam Sandler in “Happy Gilmore 2” in January, and is now making headlines as the newly announced performer for the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show.
But before the Super Bowl, the global superstar is set to host the premiere of Saturday Night Live’s new season.
After appearing as a guest in the season finale last May, he will now become the first guest star to appear in two consecutive SNL episodes.
Here’s what to know:
When will SNL’s Bad Bunny episode air? How to watch and who will be the musical guest?
Bad Bunny will host the Season 51 premiere of SNL on Oct. 4. The episode will air on NBC at 11:30 p.m., the network announced. It will be available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
Bad Bunny will be joined by Doja Cat, who is set to perform as the episode’s musical guest.
The Season 51 premiere will mark Bad Bunny’s fifth appearance on the show and his second time as host.
