BAFTA Film Awards: ‘Avatar: Fire And Ash’ Wins Best Special Visual Effects

The BAFTA Film Awards winners are being unveiled at a ceremony on Sunday in London.

One Battle After Another and Sinners are among the favorites on the night, with 14 and 13 nominations, respectively. British features, including Hamnet and I Swear, are also hoping to take home a coveted bronze mask.

Special awards will also be given out. NBCUniversal Entertainment chairman Dame Donna Langley will be honoured with this year’s BAFTA Fellowship, the arts charity’s highest accolade. Clare Binns, creative director of PictureHouse Cinemas, will be presented with BAFTA’s Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema prize.

The BAFTA Film Awards are hosted by Alan Cumming. The ceremony airs on BBC1 in the UK at 7 p.m. local time, and on E! at 8 p.m. Et in the U.S. The evening will feature a performance of “Golden” from Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the singers behind Netflix’s monster hit KPop Demon Hunters.
