David Jonsson and Aimee Lou Wood are revealing the shortlists at 12 p.m. GMT (4 a.m. Pt) in a livestream from the U.K. Academy’s headquarters at 195 Piccadilly in the British capital.
Earlier this month, the longlists for each category — the results of the first round of voting for the honors — were unveiled. They were led by Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller One Battle After Another with 16 mentions on the longlists, Chloé Zhao’s Shakespearean heartbreaker Hamnet (14), and Ryan Coogler’s vampire film Sinners (14).
