Media and entertainment powerhouse, Banijay Entertainment, today announces hit adventure competition format, Fort Boyard, created by ALP, part of Banijay France, is expanding its footprint across digital and scripted, with a landmark creator collaboration and feature-length crime drama, as it returns for its 37th season on France TV.
The upcoming season will introduce Cyril Féraud as the show’s new host, alongside a revamped gameplay with brand-new challenges and twists. Ahead of the launch, France TV and Banijay France have also partnered with French streamer Domingo, for an exclusive creator-led adventure. During a live Twitch broadcast, Domingo and fellow creators Baghera, ZeratoR and Clemquicourt, explored the iconic fortress and took part in a host of trials, and recorded a dedicated episode now available on france.tv and Domingo’s YouTube channel.
Further expanding the franchise, Screenline, part of Banijay France, has started filming a feature-length crime drama (1×90’), Meurtres à Fort Boyard (Murders at Fort Boyard), for France TV. The latest instalment in the successful Meurtres à… collection, is set against the backdrop of the iconic fortress. When a body is discovered, two investigators are forced to work together despite their differences. Navigating the fortress’ stone corridors and secret corners, they must learn to put tensions to one side to solve the mystery, which may prove the most daunting trial yet. The drama is written by Camille Guichard and David Crozier, and directed by Florence Fauquet, with Olivia Côte and Marie Petiot taking the lead roles.

Equally, ALP (Adventure Line Productions), founded in 1972, has become a major player in the French unscripted landscape, known for Fort Boyard; Koh-Lanta (Survivor), now in its 34th season; and Netflix hit, Don’t Hate the Player. Its extensive portfolio spans a wide range of formats, including Treasure Map, Cleaners, Are You The One?, and Canal Piu.
Launched in 2022, Screenline Productions is developing an ambitious portfolio of premium scripted shows for the French and international market. Credits include Culte, a mini-series for Prime Video inspired by the real life-events of Loft Story, the upcoming feature film Tempête with Bach Buquen; and the adaptation of Joël Dicker’s bestselling thriller Un Animal Sauvage, both for Prime Video.
