Barney didn’t forget to wish one of his very special friends congratulations on her wedding day.

Selena Gomez has come a very long way since first appearing on television in 2002 in the hit children’s show Barney & Friends. Over the weekend, she tied the knot to Benny Blanco.

She shared the news on Instagram with a 15-picture carousel of her and her now-husband on their special day, captioning the photos, “9.27.25.”

Reminiscing on their days together, Barney reposted the photos along with a caption that read, “Oh boy, oh boy! Congratulations,” finished off with a fitting purple heart.

Barney wasn’t the only Hollywood star to congratulate the couple.

Gordon Ramsay commented, “So happy for the both of you. Congrats !Gx.”

Lily Collins wrote, “The most love to you both ever!!!!”

Camila Cabello chimed in, “love looks good on you.”

Ashley Park, who appeared on Selena’s hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, wrote, “beyond special to witness your very extraordinary love the most perfect celebration of a beautifully deserving couple and ‘wife’ looks glorious on you.”

Selena and Benny got married during a two-day celebration in Montecito, Calif. The ceremony was strictly for close friends and family. Amongst the guest list was a few fellow stars like Martin Short, Steve Martin, Paul Rudd, Paris Hilton. Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran reportedly gave speeches at the reception.

Before the big day, a source leaked some of the wedding plans to the Daily Mail, which might be the reason the two were the only who have posted photos from the night.

After their plans were revealed, they took safety measures to make sure nothing else would get ruined.

“They’re doubling up on security to make the event as private as possible,” a source shared to the publication.

The source also mentioned Selena was “going back and forth on whether or not to allow people to have their phones as an extra measure of security and privacy, along with the fact that she wants everyone to be present.”

The actress and the record producer were together for two years before they had gotten engaged. While sources have suggested they were dating privately for a few months, Selena didn’t confirm the relationship until December 2023.

Before exploring a romantic connection, the two worked with each other on several hit singles including Same Old Love, Kill Em with Kindness, and Single Soon, which was released a couple months before the actress went public with their relationship on her Instagram.
