Belinda Carlisle and her husband have barely changed in over four decades together!
Carlisle and the ’80s girl band the Go-Go’s smashed onto the scene with hits like “We Got the Beat” and “Vacation,” but she also had a successful solo career with hits like “Heaven Is a Place on Earth” and “Mad About You.” These days, Carlisle is still touring like crazy and released her new album, “Once Upon a Time in California,” back in August. But one thing that’s been a source of stability through Carlisle’s tumultuous career is her marriage to Morgan Mason. In a new Instagram photo honoring the couple’s 41 years as a couple, Carlisle shared side-by-side photos that reveal just how little the couple has changed throughout their lengthy relationship.
“41 years ago our lives changed forever. I am truly blessed…. Happy anniversary@morganmason1955 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵 here’s to true love,” Carlisle captioned the photo, likely referring to when the couple first met. (They married in 1986.)
The ’80s Pop Icon Has Barely Changed
Earlier this month, the iconic singer shared side-by-side photos of herself sitting in the same chair in Mexico City 32 years later. However, the legendary star has barely aged a day.
“Same chair, 32 years later. Photographed in Los Angeles in 1993 for US Magazine and then Mexico City 2025. Leopard print never goes out of style……❤️,” the star shared on her Instagram page.
Carlisle Loves to Travel the World
Carlisle travels the world to hit the stage as a performer, and keeps up with her followers on her Instagram account, which shows her delightful travel photos. Last month, she shared a stunning picture from a boat as she sailed Lake Van in Turkey.
Finding Peace in Sobriety
Carlisle and her husband have navigated a lot in 41 years together, including Carlisle’s struggles with drugs and alcohol. Carlisle opened up in a recent interview with The Sunday Times about her lengthy journey to sobriety.
“I thought, I’ll just drink wine, and I won’t do coke. I realized that in order to continue with my career — which was in the toilet — the most important thing was to get sober. I remember playing this little club in Northampton at the end of my drinking and using. There were 12 people in the audience, and my dressing room was a closet for cleaning materials, mops, and brooms. I thought, Wow. I was able to turn things around, but I wouldn’t have been able to if I had been behaving in the way I was before I got sober,” she recalled.
These days, things look a lot different for Carlisle.
“I get up at 3:30 am. Then I chant for 40 minutes. I love chanting. It’s not airy-fairy; it’s scientific,” she explained.
