Bellingham February events: masques, parties and music

Bellingham events

• The Bellingham Dockside Market features fresh fish from local fishermen and a variety of vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 21 at Squalicum Harbor, 2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive.
• Aslan Depot is hosting a Super Bowl watch party at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8. The event is open to those age 19 and older. Aslan Depot is at 1322 N. State St.
• Beach Cat Brewing is hosting a Super Bowl party at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, with $5 beers, JT’s Smokin BBQ and the Super Bowl on 85-inch TVs. Beach Cat Brewing is at 1010 C St. in Bellingham.
• A Valentines Masquerade Party will be at the Hotel Bellwether from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13. The event costs $75 per person and includes a glass of champagne, hors d’oeuvres, flat breads, a dessert bar, entry into the Masquerade Costume Contest and access to the photo booth and dance floor with a live DJ and band. Tickets are available online in advance. The Hotel Bellwether is at 1 Bellwether Way.
• The Fairhaven Chocolate Walk is returning Saturday, Feb. 14 and tickets are still available. The chocolate walk includes chocolate tastings at 18 businesses across Fairhaven, and for VIP ticket holders, four alcoholic beverages. Tickets cost $35 for general admission and $55 and are available online in advance.
• A Valentine’s Day Swing Dance on Saturday, Feb. 14 will start at 7:30 p.m. with a beginner’s class, and change to a social dance with live music at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $35 per person and are available online in advance. The dance will be at The Majestic, at 1027 N Forest St.
• Open Roller Skate is returning to The Depot from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20. Participants are invited to bring their own skating gear. The event is free for all ages at Depot Market Square at 1100 Railroad Ave.
• Aslan Depot is celebrating its eighth anniversary with a party from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21., that will feature a new beer release, limited-edition merch, a flash tattoo artist and live music. The event is free to attend and is open to ages 21 and up. Aslan Depot is at 1322 N. State St.

• Stone’s Throw Brewery has free live music for all ages from 6 to 8 p.m. throughout the month. For the lineup of artists, check the brewery’s website or Facebook page. Stone’s Throw Brewery is at 1009 Larrabee Ave.
• ​The Aslan Brewing Co. Depot welcomes local artists throughout the month. For the music lineup, check the schedule online. Aslan Brewing Co. Depot is at 1322 N. State St.
• Kulshan Brewing Company’s various breweries are hosting live music all month. For the music lineup and locations, check the schedule online.
• ​The Blue Room, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live performers and performances, including jazz nights, local artists, and improv nights. Tickets are available online in advance. The Blue Room is at 202 E. Holly St.
• The Shakedown, a live music venue and bar, regularly hosts live music and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. The Shakedown is at 1212 N State St.Wild Buffalo House of Music, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live music from a variety of bands and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. Wild Buffalo House of Music is at 208 W. Holly St.
• ​Bar Two Eleven, a bar and music venue, regularly hosts live music and concerts. Tickets are available online in advance. Bar Two Eleven is at 211 E Chestnut St.
• Admiralty Lounge, a restaurant and lounge, regularly has live music from a variety of musicians from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays. Admiralty Lounge is at 100 N. Commercial St.
