An iconic band that became popular in the ’80s is still together and touring, and they just announced additional performance dates. Heart, comprised of sisters Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson, is currently traveling the country on their “Royal Flush Tour.” On September 16, they announced that the tour was being extended.
The Royal Flush Tour was initially scheduled to happen in mid-2024. Sadly, on July 2, 2024, the group announced, “As of today, HEART’s Royal Flush Tour is postponeddue to medical reasons.”
The announcement continued, “Fans are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates. More information to be announced in the coming weeks.”
Nancy added a comment to the group’s Facebook announcement. “HELLO beloved Heartmongers and noble Heart fans! Happy to let you all know that the HEART tour is still coming your way, but we need to take a temporary pause…From the end of the world to your town! See you guys soon. Can’t wait. Love rules.”
In September 2024, Heart announced that they would be resuming their Royal Flush Tour in late February 2025. Just five dates were revealed at that time, but more shows were added in subsequent announcements.
Dates for “An Evening With Heart” were announced in March, and in April, new August performance dates were added to Heart’s schedule.
In May, Heart announced their Royal Flush Tour was resuming with about 30 new dates scheduled. The tour resumed in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on May 31, and was initially slated to end on August 30 in Bethel, New York. Come July, Heart’s tour was extended until December 21.
Now, a new announcement on Heart’s Facebook page reveals the Royal Flush Tour is continuing into 2026. Heart will start touring again on February 15, 2026, with a concert in Duluth, Georgia. At this time, dates continue until March 15 with a performance in Fishers, Indiana.
So far, all of the additional Heart tour dates have been in the U.S. Some fans expressed their hope that the group might start traveling abroad at some point, too.
“We would love you to come back to the UK if possible. I had tickets for the Royal Flush Tour in Birmingham, England. Wishing you health and happiness,” one fan wrote.
“Hope there will be more dates added including Vancouver BC. Or at least Seattle WA. Ann is such a strong woman to tour after her battle with cancer. Prayers up and tobacco down for continued healing and strength,” added another fan.
Heart put their tour on hold after Ann was diagnosed with cancer. She explained in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that she had successfully undergone surgery, but doctors also recommended she do a course of chemotherapy. She wrote, “Thank you for all the support. This is merely a pause. I’ve much more to sing.”
A Facebook video from Ann shared in September 2024 provided a happy update. “I’m doing absolutely fine now but it’s been, to put it mildly, a lot. Chemo is no joke,” she said.
Ann added that she had recently received test results that were “the good kind!” She revealed, “I’m excited to share with you that I’m now finished with chemo & I’m officially ready to get ready for the tour in 2025!”
Heart has been going strong since then, and it doesn’t appear that they plan to slow down anytime soon.
