One of our favorite Disney stars is someone who really does it all-he is a Tony Award-nominated and Grammy-winning actor and singer, Disney Legend, voice of a major character in two of Disney’s highest-grossing animated movies, and more. Recently, this beloved celebrity has embarked on a few different adventures to work for a day in iconic Disney Cast Member dream jobs.
We now have a glimpse of his newest adventure as a Disneyland Haunted Mansion caretaker, and the footage will definitely make you smile. Keep reading for more details!

This Star Has Worked in Several Iconic Cast Member Jobs

Josh Gad, the major Disney star who voices Olaf in the immensely successful Frozen franchise, started out this fun series when he worked as a Jungle Cruise skipper for a day. This was a long time coming, as he was actually rejected as a Jungle Cruise skipper when he applied in 1999! When he was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2022, he shared his speech on Instagram with a caption that jokingly read, “A very important message to the head of Disney World casting who rejected me as a Jungle Cruise Skipper in 1999…”
A few years ago, he finally got to live out his dream, working as a Jungle Cruise skipper at Disneyland! He had a great time sharing classic jokes and puns, and delighting guests with his appearance.

This kicked off a pretty fun series starring Josh Gad in various Disney Cast Member roles! In his next adventure, he was a Conductor on the Disneyland Railroad for a day. Fans were super excited to see him! He introduced himself to the guests, joking, “For those of you who don’t know, I’m the voice of Elsa in Frozen. I’m the one who sings ‘Let It Go’.” Throughout the tour, he provided narration and cracked jokes, then enjoyed a churro afterwards.

Then, he ventured to Disney World’s Animal Kingdom to become a Kilimanjaro Safaris Guide for a day. The video started out with him feeding a rhino, then he boarded the safari truck to narrate the experience as a surprise for guests. He said, “My name is Josh Gad. I’m an actor. And what’s really exciting for all of you is…I know nothing about animals.” The group had a lot of laughs as Josh traded quips and animal commentary with Cast Member Matthew.

Most recently, in a video just shared by Disney Parks, Josh was a Haunted Mansion caretaker for a day!
The video starts out with Josh trying to get in the gates, then they automatically open for him. After he gets lost wandering through the various scenes of the ride, Cast Member Michaela finds him and takes him to the foyer, where he surprises guests. In a particularly funny moment, a mom points out to her child “That’s Olaf!” and Josh waves and says, “They’ll call you a liar if you tell anyone, young man,” then turns to Michaela and asks where he can get a swatch of the Haunted Mansion wallpaper for his house renovation.
