Best and Worst Dressed at Vanity Fair Party 2026

For more than three decades, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party has been the unofficial second act of Hollywood’s biggest night. The ceremony hands out the Oscars, but the party is where celebrities really let loose. Think winners still clutching their statues, actors who skipped the ceremony entirely, and a red carpet that’s a little riskier, a little sexier, and a lot more fun.

This year felt like something of a reboot. The legendary bash moved to a new home at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, giving the party a sleek new backdrop and ushering in what could easily be called Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2.0.

And the carpet delivered its usual share of pop culture moments. At one point, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez crossed paths with Nicole Kidman as she glided past them in a radiant column gown, sending photographers into a quick lens-switching frenzy.

Then there were the breakout stars of the steamy gay ice hockey romance series “Heated Rivalry,” Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, who arrived looking seductively coordinated in sheer Saint Laurent. Equal parts fun and effortless, the duo proved once again that red carpet chemistry is very real and they know what social media wants.

Color-wise, the mood shifted after the Academy Awards carpet. Powdery pastels gave way to minimalism in cloud dancer white and plenty of black. One color that refused to budge was red, with standouts like Kaia Gerber, Minnie Driver and Nikki Glaser delivering some of the night’s strongest red looks. The feather trend from the Oscars also made a statement here, with Demi Moore continuing her Gucci night feathery adventure in monochromatic black.

For the true night owls, the evening was only getting started before the famously private after party hosted by Madonna and Guy Oseary.
