LA-based NZ R&B artist Janine has released her new album Pain and Paradise. “Of all the projects I’ve ever made, this one reaches deeper into my heart than ever before… the most challenging and the most beautiful,” she says.

alayna – “But it’s Lonely”
Auckland artist alayna has released her new single and video “But it’s Lonely”, ahead of her upcoming album and a performance at Going Global next week.
“I wrote this in LA. I nearly cancelled the session as I was feeling jetlagged and run down, but I’m so glad I didn’t. It ended up being one of the favourite songs I’ve ever written. I feel that I’ve tried to write a version of this song for a very long time, and this time I was finally able to nail it.”
f.dedpuppy – “Bury Me in Chrome”
f.dedpuppy, the solo project of Imugi’s Yery Cho, debuts with “Bury Me in Chrome”, a raw, genre-blending single co-produced with icey.zyl.
IVY – “Tall Grass”
Dunedin rockers IVY share new single “Tall Grass”, a dark yet beautiful ode to their hometown. “It’s inspired by the likes of ‘Skins’, it’s an abstract portrayal of raw, gritty themes set against a familiar, everyday backdrop.”
Paige – “no hoping”
Aotearoa pop artist Paige shares new single “no hoping”, a stripped-back, intimate track from her upcoming EP Paigespace. “I wrote no hoping in a complete state of grief + vulnerability… I think the songs you have to reach into your soul for are usually the best ones,” she says.
Kora – Fifth Season
Aotearoa band Kora returns with Fifth Season, a bass-heavy, genre-blending album that fuses dub, rock, funk, and kaupapa Māori storytelling, out now with a nationwide tour this Spring.
