It seems like the Cotswolds in England is the new Montecito; all the celebrities have to have a piece of property there. While we know there’s an influx of celebrities moving out of the US, and most notably to either Spain or the UK, another couple is joining the mix, alongside the controversial couple of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. That’s right, turns out that Beyoncé and Jay-Z may be joining the likes of other celebrity couples in the Cotswolds.
Insiders told The Sunday Times that the pair are in the final stages of purchasing 58 acres of land on the outskirts of Wigginton to build a “spectacular rural estate.” (And apparently, locals aren’t too happy about all the A-listers going to their town!)

For those who don’t know, Beyonce and Jay-Z first met in 2000 but didn’t start dating til a few years later. They married in 2008 in a private ceremony on April 4, 2008, in New York City. Later, they welcomed three children together. They welcomed daughter Blue Ivy Carter back in Jan 2012, then welcomed twins Sir and Rumi on June 2017. So they’re looking for a home to house their family of five.
It’s unclear if this Cotswalds home will be their main residence, or another addition to their $300+ million housing empire. Per Robb Report, they own homes in New Orleans, NYC, the Hamptons, Bel Air, and Malibu.
