The cast and crew of Beyond the Gates are celebrating a major milestone as filming on Season 1 of the historic soap opera comes to a close. Now the cast and crew, including creator Michelle Val Jean, have shared their heartfelt reactions on social media.
Back on June 12th show creator Michelle Val Jean shared on Instagram thanking the writing team for their work on season 1, captioning her post, “Here’s to the #BeyondTheGates writing team for a successful Season One. I love you guys beyond measure and I’m so grateful. You know who you are #BTG”
Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) said she was, “Beyond grateful to be shimmying into episode 200 of @beyondthegatescbs! 💃🏼🪩🥂 could not love this cast, crew and creative team more. thank you to everyone who’s watching and supporting the show! we love you (and your memes that are MEMEinggg)💚”
Fans flooded Buglioli’s comments with praise, one user wrote, “LOVED watching you embody Vanessa this season! One of my instant favorite on the show, congratulations!!! Can’t wait for S2!!”

Beyond the Gates filmed its 200th episode this week. Hitting 200 episodes in one year is an incredible achievement, for comparison in primetime this would typically take ten or more years to hit that milestone.
The series will be wrapping production on season one shortly. Episodes from season one will continue to air throughout the end of 2025. Meanwhile, production will begin on season 2 after a brief hiatus with those episodes airing in 2026.
Beyond the Gates season 1 continues to air weekdays on CBS and streams weeknights on Paramount+. Fans can catch the series from the beginning on Paramount+ or watch the series on Pluto TV’s 24/7 dedicated channel.
