New Orleans will always be a special place for pop star Billie Eilish.

Eilish, 23, told thousands of screaming fans in the Smoothie King Center Friday night she thinks fondly of the Crescent City because it was the first stop on her “Happier Than Ever” tour in 2022.

“That show was the first show since the two years of nothing during COVID … so I think very highly of this place, “Eilish said. “It’s so cool to be back here and see all these faces again. We’ve all grown and it’s crazy … thank you all for having me back here.”

The Grammy and Oscar award-winning singer sang many of her famous hits on the first of her two-night concert series in the final leg of her “Hit Me Hard And Soft” tour.

Eilish performed songs from all of her albums, delighting the crowd with “Bad Guy,” “Ocean Eyes” and “L’AMOUR DE MA VIE.”

Dressed in signature baggy clothes with her dark hair framing her face, Eilish left the stage during “everything i wanted” to run into the crowd and high-five fans.

“It’s the last first show,” Eilish told the crowd earlier in the night Friday. “It’s been the most magical tour ever.”

Eilish will be back in the Smoothie King Center at 7 p.m. Saturday with Men I Trust opening.
