The Country Music Association has revealed the presenters and special guests for the 59th Annual CMA Awards, and one announcement in particular is already generating major buzz: Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are officially making their first U.S. red carpet appearance together.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and the actress-model — who went public with their relationship last spring — have previously walked red carpets in the U.K. and Italy but have never appeared together at a U.S. awards show until now. Their highly anticipated debut will take place when the CMAs air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 19, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, with next-day streaming on Hulu.
Hosted by Lainey Wilson, Country Music’s Biggest Night is shaping up to be one of the most star-studded ceremonies in recent years.
Steve Martin to Appear With Grammy-Winning Banjoist Alison Brown
The CMA Awards also confirmed that Only Murders in the Building Emmy nominee Steve Martin — the actor, comedian, author and renowned banjo player — will appear alongside Alison Brown, the Grammy-winning banjoist and founder of Compass Records.
Martin’s roots in bluegrass are well-documented, and his presence adds an unexpected and exciting musical element to the night.
They join a long list of performers and presenters spanning country, pop, comedy, film and television.
