Ahead of that release, the indigenous solo black metal project has debuted the new single “Celestial Bloodlust” alongside a performance video created by Moshmallows using footage from Blackbraid’s recent show at Kollektivet Livet Bar & Scen in Stockholm, Sweden.
According to Blackbraid, Nocturnal Womb includes material that was too dark and visceral to fit within the narrative of Blackbraid III. The standalone EP also features an acoustic instrumental version of “Barefoot Ghost Dance on Blood Soaked Soil.”
Blackbraid will also headline the UK and Ireland from April 9th through 14th, 2026 with support from Winterfylleth and Noctem. A number of European festival appearances are scheduled as well.
