Blackpink member Jennie has received more than 23.8 billion won (US$16.3 million) in settlement payments over the past two years from OA Entertainment, the one-person agency she founded.

Filings with the country’s Financial Supervisory Service on May 9 show the agency paid her 14.3 billion won in 2024 and 9.5 billion won in 2025, the Korea JoongAng Daily reported.

According to the Korea Times, Jennie founded OA Entertainment, short for “Odd Atelier,” in Nov. 2023 after her exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired. The agency is helmed by Jennie’s mother, while Jennie remains its sole shareholder.

She continues to participate in Blackpink’s group activities under YG Entertainment while handling her solo projects through OA Entertainment, including endorsement deals, solo album promotions and personal performances.

Audit filings showed the company posted revenue of 18.9 billion won and operating profit of 580 million won in its first year. The company’s revenue rose to 23.8 billion won last year, while operating profit fell to 390 million won, reportedly due to higher selling and administrative expenses such as salaries and commission fees.

Jennie, 30, debuted as a member of Blackpink in 2016. Known for hits such as “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” and “How You Like That”, the group became the first South Korean girl group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2019 and later the first K-pop act to headline the festival.

Earlier this year, she was named to Time magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people and attended the Met Gala 2026 in New York.
