Bluebird Social officially opened its doors this week, welcoming the community to Boise’s newest outdoor entertainment venue.
The new outdoor venue officially opened this week at 1401 W. Shoreline Drive, transforming the former Green Acres Food Truck Park site “If you have a few free hours and you want some food and you want a good time you can just come down here and rest assured between us and green acres and all the things that are sure to develop in this area you’re going to have a lot of fun!” Says Organizor Jaxon Thorton describing it as a community gathering space centered around live entertainment, local food, and outdoor experiences.
Bluebird Social is open from 11:00am to 10:00pm and organizers say they hope Bluebird Social becomes a place where people can gather, discover something new, and enjoy everything from concerts to food throughout the year.
The venue features a festival style atmosphere with open seating, gathering spaces, and a professional stage designed to host everything from local acts to national touring artists.
Organizers say the vision behind Bluebird Social is to create a place where people can connect, support local businesses, and experience a variety of events throughout the summer and beyond. admission is free.
