Boy George Calls Out Dorit Kemsley After PK Kemsley Split

Boy George has thoughts on Dorit Kemsley’s subtle message for Paul “PK” Kemsley on Father’s Day after their split.

Dorit, 49, took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, June 21, to repost a video which began, “I don’t care who gets offended, I’m gonna say it anyway … A man who makes the mother of his child struggle is a complete failure. There’s nothing respectable about watching the woman raising your child carrying everything alone without real support.”

The post continued, “When she’s overwhelmed, stressed and exhausted, your child is quietly absorbing that same pressure every single day. A real man doesn’t sit back [while] the mother of his child breaks down and still handles both roles by herself. Responsibility defines a man more than words ever will, because actions reveal who he truly is. Leadership isn’t control. If she’s doing everything while you’re doing nothing, that’s not strength. That’s neglect in its clearest form.”

George, who is managed by PK, reposted her Instagram Story on Sunday and shared his thoughts.

“This post on Father’s Day? Absolutely disgusting!” the Grammy winner wrote.

Dorit and PK confirmed their separation in 2024 after rumors swirled that the pair had split. The duo — who share son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10 — were together for nearly a decade.

“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage,” Dorit and PK wrote via Instagram at the time. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together. To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey.”

Nearly one year later, Dorit filed for divorce and cited irreconcilable differences. She requested sole legal and physical custody of the kids in her filing and asked for spousal support. PK, meanwhile, filed for joint custody of the kids and asked the court to terminate Dorit’s spousal support request.

In November 2025, Dorit opened up exclusively to Us Weekly about her coparenting journey with PK.

“We need to be able to prioritize our children,” she said at BravoCon at the time. “I’m hoping that at some point things will become a little bit less challenging.”

More recently, Dorit discussed their marriage at length in her memoir, Unburdened, but PK’s reaction was the last thing on her mind.

“I think that when someone is looking for fault in something, I think it’s all about a mindset,” she explained to Us earlier this month. “I think if he goes in with a mindset that’s open and compassionate, I think that he’ll be able to look at it in one way. If he goes in looking to pick on every little thing, then of course, he’s not going to be happy.”

Dorit continued, “In order to be unburdened, I really need to not care.”
