When Netflix first revived Brad Pitt‘s Cliff Booth spin-off from director David Fincher, most presumed it’d be a streaming exclusive, followed by a limited theatrical run for award considerations. However, with KPop Demon Hunters arriving in AMC theaters, the largest theater chain in the world, it seems Netflix is contemplating a more traditional release window for Pitt’s The Adventures of Cliff Booth (via Variety).
Although it’s too early to say anything for certain, given Netflix’s recent decisions, which appear to be targeting the theatrical landscape beyond the prospect of award considerations, a big screen release seems very likely.
