Britney Spears took an unfortunate tumble recently and hurt her right knee.
The “Oops!… I Did It Again” crooner, 43, encountered the injury while at a friend’s home.
Spears posted one of her famous dancing videos on social media over the weekend where her knee was bandaged.
Alongside the clip, the pop princess explained the incident. “I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house … it was horrible … it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in !!! Thank u god,” she wrote.
In the video, Spears donned beige gloves and a light pink sequined mini dress to move around.
She also noted in her caption how dancing is helping her cope with her two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, heading back to their home in Hawaii.
“My boys had to leave and go back to Maui,” she added. “This is the way I express myself and pray through art… father who art in heaven… I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day.”
The “Toxic” singer shares her boys with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 until 2007.
A source told People last year that Jayden often visits Spears at her abode in Los Angeles and she enjoys hanging out with him, noting: “Spending time together has made her happy.”
