Bruno Mars joked about turning 40 with a filtered portrait of himself on Instagram.
On Wednesday (October 8), the “Die With a Smile” vocalist posted a close-up picture with an older and gray-haired version of himself to celebrate his fortieth. Included in the visual was a hoarse rendition of his 2010 hit “Just the Way You Are.”
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I love you,” the voiceover said at the end.

The 16-time has kept himself busy upon reaching his birthday, as it was last month that he concluded the extension of his Las Vegas residency. Just months before, Mars again joked that he was working himself out of a gambling debt after it was alleged that he’d racked up tens of millions in debt with MGM Resorts.
While Mars’ last album, 24K Magic, dropped in 2016, he released two singles this year, including Sexyy Red collaboration “Fat, Juicy & Wet.”
