BTS’s surprise new song “Come Over” has once again worked on Billboard.
According to the latest chart (June 27) released by the U.S. music media Billboard on the 23rd (local time), “Come Over” released on the 12th ranked 69th on the main single chart “Hot 100.” It is the 39th team group song to enter the “Hot 100.”
In particular, the entry into the “Hot 100” chart is meaningful as it is not a title song or track of the album, but a surprise release of the song.
“Come Over” ranked 5th in “Global (excluding the U.S.)” and 14th in “Global 200.” BTS posted its 21st group song on the chart’s “Top 10,” breaking the record for the most entries by the group. It immediately entered No. 1 on the ‘Digital Song Sales’ and ‘World Digital Song Sales’ charts. As a result, the number one song on the chart was increased to 44 songs, breaking its own record again.
The long-term success of the fifth full-length album “ARIRANG” is also underway. “Arirang” re-entered the “Top 10″ with number 10 on the main album chart ” Billboard 200″. The title song “SWIM” reached No. 55 on the “Hot 100” chart-in for 13 consecutive weeks. In “Global 200” and “Global (excluding the U.S.), they remained in 7th place and 2nd place, respectively. All 13 songs in the album also stayed on the “Global (excluding the U.S.)” chart for 13 consecutive weeks.
It has also achieved results on radio and detailed album charts. “SWIM” ranked 18th on the radio chart “Adult Contemporary”, 19th on “Pop Airplay”, and 29th on “Adult Pop Airplay”. The album “Arirang” ranked 10th on “Top Album Sales”, 22nd on “Top Streaming Album”, and 14th on “Vinyl Album”.
Existing releases have also rebounded in rankings. In 2022, “Proof” ranked 7th, and Japan’s 4th regular album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7~THE JOURNEY~” ranked 16th, up one step each from last week.
“Come Over” is a new song from the “Arirang” Deluxe Vinyl released on April 3, and was released as a sound source for the “2026 BTS FESTA” period. Suga participated in the production, and RM and J-Hope were also named in the credits.
Even when I feel lost, “I”‘s honest confession, which knocks on the door after wandering and singing of his heart to find “You,” is also in line with his heart for ARMY (fandom name) who has been by the side of the BTS for a long time. It was included in the set list of “BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” and met with the audience first at the concert hall before the release of the song and received a great response.
Meanwhile, “Arirang” was recognized as the best music in the first half of this year by leading overseas media. Rolling Stone in the United States, Consequence, Complex, and NME in the United Kingdom all selected the album as the “best album of 2026.”
