Caitlin Clark Predicts YouTube Crash During Taylor Swift’s ‘New Heights’ Appearance originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Taylor Swift might be the most prominent pop star in the world right now. She’s reached a level of fame in which even fellow celebrities are starstruck by her and eager to follow her every move.
Notably, that includes Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, who’s admittedly a major Swiftie, not to mention a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan. That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see that she won’t miss Swift’s appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast.
Caitlin Clark believes Taylor and Travis will break the internet again
With that in mind, she took to X to wonder whether YouTube would be able to handle the millions of viewers the show will have when it airs on Wednesday at 7:00 pm ET.
“Are we sure YouTube isn’t going to crash tonight?” Clark wrote.
That’s a fair concern, as New Heights has become one of the most prominent shows in the sports industry, and with Taylor Swift’s Midas touch and huge following, they can certainly expect this to be their most-watched episode ever.
Caitlin Clark loved The Eras Tour
Notably, Clark was also a guest on the show and, as expected, her love for Taylor Swift was a major talking point. Back in February, she shared her experience watching “The Eras Tour” in Indianapolis:
“It’s just a great show and a lot of fun,” Clark said. “Ugh, that was so much fun. My mom was begging me to take her,” the young guard continued. “She’s like, ‘I gotta go, like, everybody’s talking about it.’ I’m like, ‘OK, OK’ … Full Swiftie, turned my mom into a full Swiftie now. Good time, good time.”
Clark might be a rising star and the future face of the WNBA, but she will be just another fan tonight when the show airs.
