Camila Mendes is reflecting on her “cringiest” red carpet moment.
While playing a game of Truth or Wear with Who What Wear, the Riverdale alum, 31, was asked to reveal both her favorite and “cringiest” red carpet looks.
As for her best, Mendes called out the Tamara Ralph gown she wore to the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar party.
“It was like this sculptural gold bra and this beautiful black velvet skirt,” she said. “I really think that was a strong look. I really love that one.”
Mendes teamed the black and gold creation with a glamorous updo and minimal accessories.

The actress then reflected on a look that she wasn’t so thrilled with. “Cringiest look?” she said. “There was one look that I remember it was like this big event and, it’s not even like it was cringey, it just didn’t feel like me. And so I felt that.”
Mendes is taking on her first blockbuster role in the movie adaptation of Mattel’s Masters of the Universe. The actress is playing Teela, a warrior who reconnects with her childhood friend Prince Adam/He-Man (Nicholas Galitzine) when their home world of Eternia comes under threat by Skeletor (Jared Leto).
“More than anything, I had always dreamed of being in a superhero movie and I never imagined that an opportunity like this would come my way,” Mendes told PEOPLE of landing the role. “There’s Marvel and DC and I feel like those characters have already been played so many times by different people and that comes with its own set of pressures.”
“But it was really cool to enter this world that sort of has been untouched for a really long time, especially in the live-action space,” she added. “And it was really cool to be able to bring these dormant characters to life again.”

Masters of the Universe, directed by Travis Knight (Bumblebee), is based on the Mattel line of toys, which was adapted into the beloved animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and a 1987 live-action movie starring Dolph Lundgren as the titular hero.
