Founded in 1994, the Canberra International Music Festival began as a small chamber music festival and has grown into one of Australia’s leading art music events. Expanding from intimate house concerts to its iconic home in the Fitters’ Workshop, the Festival now presents a broad range of music – from early and classical traditions to Indigenous, contemporary and jazz – curated as a cohesive, multi-day artistic journey.
