Cardi B addressed a recently viral video where she appeared to be in a heated argument with Stefon Diggs.
In an inaudible clip circulating on social media, the Am I the Drama? rapper appeared to be at odds with the NFL star just days after they appeared to have reconciled their relationship.

After the video went viral on Wednesday (May 13), Cardi responded to the incident on her X account, writing, “Sometimes I forget l’m a celebrity… damn y’all ain’t never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?”
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon outside of a coffee shop and gym in Burtonsville, Maryland, according to TMZ.
A video obtained by the outlet showed Cardi yelling at Diggs while he stood leaning against his sports car with his arms crossed. At one point, a man accompanying Cardi stepped in and placed a hand on her, as if trying to calm her down.
TMZ also reported that source overheard Cardi say, “That b**chs is messy,” but it’s unclear who she may have been referring to. The argument reportedly lasted for at least 10 minutes.
The couple’s public dispute came just days after the two appeared affectionate together at Diggs’ Diggs Deep Foundation Mother’s Day event.
People recently reported that Cardi and Diggs had recently worked through relationship tension following breakup rumors earlier this year.
“Cardi pulled away from the drama in February. She didn’t trust him and felt like things were going on behind her back. She wasn’t in a place emotionally to deal with fighting and tension,” a source told the magazine.
The source added that Cardi “needed to just finish” her Little Miss Drama Tour and “have stability for her kids.”
According to People, the source claimed that Cardi “never closed the door completely” on the relationship and that Diggs “stepped it up a few weeks ago and showed her that he wants to make it work.”
“It was enough of an effort to get her attention,” the source added. “She still cares about him a lot.”
They had already fueled speculation in April after Diggs was spotted in attendance at Cardi’s Little Miss Drama Tour stop at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. At that performance, Cardi jokingly told the crowd, “I might get put on my back tonight.”
Diggs later appeared at the concert’s afterparty before the two reportedly left together.
Rumors that the two were dating began circulating in October 2024. They spent Valentine’s Day together in 2025 and became Instagram official that June.
In a September 2025 interview with Jenna Bush Hager on TODAY With Jenna & Friends, Cardi said the two were set up by “mutual friends.”
“I thought he was cute,” Cardi said at the time. “I was like, ‘Oh, he’s gotta be mine.'”
A source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight in early February that Cardi and Diggs ended their relationship. However, they also mentioned that not all hope for a reconciliation was lost.
“It’s possible they get back together and this could just be for right now,” the source said. “She is focused on her upcoming [Little Miss Drama Tour] and family while figuring out their next steps.”
Cardi and Diggs share a son, whom they refer to as “Baby Brim” or “Baby Touchdown,” born in November 2025. Cardi also shares three children with estranged husband Offset, though their divorce has reportedly not yet been finalized.
