Cardi B’s estranged husband, Offset, is opening up about what went wrong in their seven-year marriage.
During the October 7 episode of the Baby, This is Keke Palmer podcast, the former Migos rapper, 33, admitted, “I should’ve respected her way more … I made bad decisions as a man, like stepping out.”
“When she left, I had to take that on the chin,” he explained, adding: “I was being selfish.”
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024. The duo share three children, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and 13-month-old Blossom.
Just two days before Offset’s admission, Cardi, 32, shared a heartbreaking confession of her own. During the October 5 episode of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, she said that she felt “the love dying” and experienced months of loneliness before deciding her marriage to Offset was over.

Though the duo’s divorce has yet to be finalized, Cardi has plenty to celebrate: The “Magnet” rapper will soon welcome her first child with her new beau, NFL star Stefon Diggs.
As Star recently reported, Diggs, 31, is embroiled in a paternity suit drama — but Cardi isn’t letting the drama get to her. During a recent sitdown with Gayle King, she confessed that she is “in a good space” and feels “very strong” while promoting her new album, Am I The Drama?
