Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates welcomed her third baby with her husband, Evan Stewart, amid her sister Erin Bates’ ongoing health crisis.
Carlin was congratulated by family and friends via Instagram on Wednesday, September 10, when she announced that her and Evan’s newborn had officially arrived.
“The world just got a little softer 🥹 Our baby is here,” Carlin, 27, wrote.
Her sister Katie Clark replied: “Congratulations mama, you did amazing! … Proud auntie.”
Carlin and Evan shared a carousel of images from the recovery room following her labor, including the first moments of Carlin cradling her baby.
The couple — who got married in May 2019 — shared their joy over Carlin’s pregnancy in February via Instagram, while revealing that their two older children, Zade Patrick, 2, and Layla Rae, 5, were excited to welcome their younger sibling.

The latest addition to Carlin and Evan’s family comes as older sister Erin, 34, continues to face severe complications following the birth of her seventh baby, Henry.
Erin’s husband, Chad Paine, initially asked his social media followers for prayers on August 27 when he revealed his wife was dealing with a significant health setback.
“After a long and emotional labor, our miracle arrived. Henry Blythe was born August 25th. 💙,” he wrote via Instagram. “Henry is doing wonderful, but we would so appreciate your prayers for Erin as she continues to recover from some complications. We thank the Lord for carrying us through and for the gift of this precious boy.”
He later revealed that Erin went into septic shock, which the Cleveland Clinic describes as a potentially deadly condition that occurs when “your immune system has an extreme reaction to an infection.”

Unfortunately, Erin’s health issues worsened when she suffered a “lengthy and severe seizure” on August 31 that put her family “back in a place of heartache, uncertainty, and tears,” according to Chad, 38.
“Erin is extremely weak and spent hours only half conscious. As her husband, it is one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced — to sit by her side and watch her struggle while being so helpless to ease her suffering. I love her more deeply than words can express, and I can’t even imagine life without my best friend,” he wrote to followers.
Chad went on, “The hours have been long and heavy, and I know many hearts are aching to see her this way, along with mine. We hold on to faith that healing is coming, even in the midst of the unknown. Your prayers are felt and we are forever grateful.”
On Saturday, September 6, Chad shared much more hopeful news that Erin was “on the road to recovery,” along with posting photos of his wife looking alert as she kissed their son Henry. He shared a video on Wednesday in which he read a letter from their 9-year-old daughter, Brooklyn.

“I’m praying for you, and I hope I can see you so soon,” Chad read. “I love you, and I know you love me back. I wish I could see you now. I’ve been waiting every second — one, two, three — for you.”
He continued reading from Brooklyn’s note, “Well, Mom, I know however long you stay there, I’ll be right here waiting on you. … Mom, I will love you whatever happens, and it’s hard for me and you, but there is a good thing that you can see and cannot see. God never said it was going to be OK, but I know you can do this. I love you.”
The family confirmed one day prior that Erin was recently transferred from the hospital to another medical facility for further treatment.
