Did ‘Wicked: For Good’ get snubbed in the Golden Globes nominations?
Nominations are out for the Golden Globes. USA TODAY’s Ralphie Aversa looks at some of the most notable snubs, including “Wicked: For Good.”
The CBS show “Elsbeth,” which has filmed in Westchester many times before (think Westchester Community College, the Michaelian Office Building on Martine Avenue in White Plains and Yonkers City Hall), was back at it again Dec. 11 with eagle-eye onlookers (including lohud’s own Matt Richter) spotting crews in action in downtown White Plains.
The comedy drama, about an astute but unconventional attorney who works with the NYPD to catch New York’s most well-heeled murderers utilizing her unique point of view recently earned Critics Choice recognition for best comedy series and acting honors for Carrie Preston.
The production, which was recently near The Opus Westchester, is one of 31 projects shot in the county over the past year that have earned Golden Globe or Critics Choice nominations.
