Cedar Point announces return of Boardwalk Nights
Here’s what you can expect this summer from Cedar Point’s Boardwalk Nights.

- Cedar Point is hosting its “Boardwalk Nights” event from July 17 to Aug. 16.
- The event, included with park admission, features new acts like the Towering Tightrope and the Bellhop Boys.
- A nightly parade, synchronized kite displays, and various live performances will take place in the park’s Boardwalk area.
- New food offerings include a Fried Chicken Ice Scream Sandwich and PickleBack Wings.
Cedar Point has a special event to mark the waning days of summer.
The Six Flags park in Sandusky has announced that its Boardwalk Nights will return from July 17 to Aug. 16.
The evening event will run nightly except on Tuesdays in the Boardwalk area of the park.
The event is a bit of a nod to the park’s history that dates back to 1870.
Boardwalk Nights is included with regular park admission.
The beach will feature a Soaring Sychronized Kite display along with the Boardwalk Color Cove and Sea Shell Dig activity.
A new offering this year will be the Towering Tightrope demonstrations over the Boardwalk area.
Billed as the world’s fastest female juggler the Remarkable Ricochet Juggling act will perform nightly along with the Hypnotic Hula Hoops.
Other acts include the Harrowing High Dive Daredevil, Treacherous Teeterboard and the Wheel of Destiny.
There will be a nightly parade featuring floats along with performers.
The event also boasts a Steamboat Swing Dance Party.
A new musical act will be the Bellhop Boys featuring percussion along with tap routines using rolling luggage carts.
The Singin’ Seagals are returning this summer.
The nights will also feature new food dishes including the Fried Chicken Ice Scream Sandwich that consists of a spicy glazed fried chicken patty topped with vanilla ice cream.
The PickleBack Wings consist of fried wings brined in pickle juice.
The Won Ton Ahi Tacos feature seared ahi tuna, red cabbage slaw and wasabi mayo.
Some of the amusement games offered include the Ring a Seagull, a version of the classic ring toss. The Hi Striker game lets guests see if they can swing a mallet and ring the bell.
The new Quick Drop tests guests ability to catch falling sticks.
The Fascination Funway Game Show invites guests to figure out if the Fascinations are giving correct answers or just making them up.
