The US Open is undoubtedly the most glamorous of the four Grand Slam tournaments. Every year in late August and early September, the excitement and glamour of New York spill over into Flushing Meadows, attracting a star-studded crowd for two of the most electric weeks in tennis.
Trump attendance delays men’s final
The 2025 men’s singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner saw one especially high-profile guest. U.S. President Donald Trump’s attendance, accompanied by additional security measures, caused the start of the match to be delayed by more than 30 minutes.
Trump will watch the Alcaraz vs. Sinner final “from a suite as a sponsor guest,” according to a U.S. Tennis Association email. He was reportedly invited by Swiss watchmaker Rolex.
A star-studded crowd
But he is by no means the only notable attendee. Among those spotted in the lead-up to the final are actors Courteney Cox, Michael J. Fox, Ben Stiller, Danny DeVito and Lindsay Lohan; music stars Usher, Pink, Sting and Shaggy; Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola; and Mexican Formula 1 driver Sergio Pérez.
Across the last two weeks, Flushing Meadows has hosted a long list of famous faces who came to watch the action unfold. From Hollywood stars to sports icons, the US Open continues to blend world-class tennis with high-profile glamour.
