British TV legend David Attenborough turned 100 years old on May 8, 2026, and celebrities worldwide took to social media to celebrate the most famous voice in nature documentaries’ milestone moment.

Beyond online tributes from huge names like the British royal family, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Beckham, and Richard Branson, the BBC also immortalized Attenborough with some new programming, including a documentary called Making Life on Earth: Attenborough’s Greatest Adventure, a series titled Secret Garden, and a live event called David Attenborough’s 100 Years on Planet Earth.

DiCaprio took to Instagram with a heartfelt message for Attenborough, writing, “Happy 100th birthday to Sir David Attenborough — a storyteller, naturalist, and one of the most enduring champions of our shared planet.”
