One star was seen receiving help for an injury during a gruelling challenge
Celebrity Bake Off medics were forced to step in after one star’s kitchen blunder during the show’s latest episode for Stand Up to Cancer.
The new series of Celebrity Bake Off premiered this month, with a new guest judge entering the tent. Earlier this year, it was confirmed that pastry chef Cherish Finden would be stepping in as judge for this charity series for Stand Up to Cancer.
The new judge is joined by Paul Hollywood and hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding with a group of new celebrities putting on their aprons and stepping in to their make shift kitchen.

Tonight’s instalment (Sunday, March 29) saw JoJo Siwa take to the tent along with Molly Mae Hague, Richard Herring and Babatunde Aléshé as they were tasking with making decorated traybakes and tarte tatin as they also recreated their childhood toys in biscuits.
A successful first round saw Molly Mae creating a carrot patch tray bake, which earned her a special handshake from judge Paul who was impressed, as well as Babatunde also earning a handshake with his caramel traybake.
Richard created an apple and pistachio traybake as JoJo, who initially appeared to be struggling, bounced back with her rainbow confetti cake.
But it was the second round that medics were forced to step in after one star’s kitchen blunder.
The Celebrity Bake Off contestants were asked to create a tarte tatin, which had to be perfectly prepped with caramel, apples and puff pastry to create the perfect taste and consistency.
While the puff pastry was in the oven, it was comedian and write Richard Herring that soon saw his preparations temporarily halted after he appeared to have cut himself whilst chopping his apples.
Viewers could hear “ouch” before the camera cut to Richard who confirmed he had in fact cut himself. Alison Hammond joked: “It’s all going off, the medics are in”, as a medical professional could be seen helping to aid Richard with his injury.
Richard replied: “I spill blood to win bake off.”
It wasn’t long before Richard, with his finger wrapped in a plaster, was back to his baking as he and the other contestants aimed to impress the judges.
After three gruelling rounds, it was Molly Mae who was crowned the winner this evening as she said: “I’m so high up in the sky right now I could cry.”
Paul Hollywood added the former Love Island star won due to being the “most consistent” across the three challenges.
Celebrity Bake Off can be watched on Channel 4 online.
