Celebrity Stylist Pilar Scratch Is Launching a Jewelry Line at Saks Fifth Avenue

Celebrity stylist Pilar Scratch is moving from behind the scenes to the luxury retail floor. On Tuesday, April 1, she announced that her new jewelry label, Maison Pilar, will debut at Saks Fifth Avenue this fall, with pre-orders opening ahead of the collection’s official May 1 launch.

Scratch revealed the news in an Instagram post, describing the line as “a new era of luxury.” The debut collection includes 18-karat gold-plated earrings and a 6mm gold-plated snake chain, pieces she said were created to project “elegance, presence, and unforgettable style.” The collection will be sold through Saks Fifth Avenue and through Scratch’s Beauty Vault by PS platform, which is currently offering subscriptions and early access updates.

The launch marks the latest chapter in a career that has taken Scratch from celebrity styling to publishing, television, and entrepreneurship. Long before Maison Pilar, Scratch built a reputation in New York fashion circles by working with clients that included Kim Kardashian, Musiq Soulchild, Rah Digga (who is also her aunt), Stevie J, Jim Jones, Amara La Negra, and DJ Enuff.

She first entered the industry while interning for legendary costume designer Patricia Fields, then steadily built a reputation through editorial styling and red-carpet work.

Scratch has often described her approach to fashion as rooted in classic pieces with an edge. In a 2017 interview with Rolling Out, she said her signature style combines vintage inspiration with “controversial garments that a normal person wouldn’t dare to wear.”

She also emphasized that fashion is less about following trends than creating a strong point of view. “I have my own eccentric fashion style, so normally I just purchase what my heart desires,” she said.

Maison Pilar arrives after years of expansion beyond styling. Scratch, who was once nominated for Forbes’ 30 Under 30, also founded Fashion Gxd Magazine, an independent publication focused on emerging talent and celebrity culture.

She later expanded into books, television appearances, and brand development, while raising her son, River Mason, whose acting and modeling work has earned attention from outlets including Forbes, TMZ, and The New York Times.
