The third instalment of Celebrity Traitors was packed with drama from its opening moments.
Earlier in the episode, we found out which star had the dubious honour of being the first to be banished from the game, as YouTube prankster Niko Omilana was voted out by his fellow celebrities in the opening moments of tonight’s episode.
Soon after, Traitors Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns congregated in the turret to decide which star was next on their hit list.
Olympian Tom Daley was the unlucky victim, and his “murder” sent shockwaves through the dining room as the remaining celebrities congregated for breakfast.
After a successful run in the latest challenge, the stars headed to the next round table, with Ruth Codd leading the charge against Jonathan, and managing to get a handful of others on side too, including Joe Marler, whose “big dog theory” seems to have won over the faithfuls.
Alan and Celia Imrie also came under fire, but eventually, it was Tameka Empson who picked up the most votes, with Kate Garraway making the final decision.
After managing to dodge banishment (for now), the Traitors met to choose their next murder victim. They singled out Ruth, Charlotte Church and David Olusoga as contenders, but we’ll have to wait until tomorrow night’s episode to find out who is about to meet an untimely demise.
The Traitors continues on Thursday night at 9pm on BBC One.
And it’s over to BBC Two for Uncloaked
“I’m going to be mocked for this for a long time by my friends,” Niko admits in his post-banishment interview on Traitors: Uncloaked.
“People’s preconceived notions of me being a prankster, a trickster, it didn’t help at all,” he adds. And he’s totally right: his day job really swayed opinion .

Ruth, Charlotte and David are all in the firing line for the next murder. But who’s it going to be? We’ll have to wait until tomorrow night’s episode to find out, of course…

Is Alan Carr becoming, whisper it, devious? He’s just admitted to Cat that he would have thrown Jonathan under the bus if the presenter had received a few more votes during the round table. Absolutely savage. He’s come a long way…

And the second celebrity to be banished is…
Kate Garraway had the deciding vote in the end, after a very scattergun round table.

Jonathan, Tameka, Ruth, Alan, Celia and Stephen are all picking up votes so far… The lack of consensus among this lot is fascinating.

“Claudia has chosen to wage a war between two Big Dogs.” Joe M’s giving his theory some round table airtime, in his inimitable style.

The heat is on for the Traitors
Gosh, it’s all going off the rails a bit for the Traitors, isn’t it? Jonathan, Alan and Cat have all been name-checked in a matter of moments. And is Alan’s defence of “I just don’t know, I genuinely don’t know” really going to cut it?
