Being on the Real Housewives franchise is already survival of the fittest. So is it really surprising that some of our favorite Housewives have popped up on other reality competition shows? These girls know how to fight! The latest ladies to do so are Real Housewives of Orange County alum Vicki Gunvalson and Dorinda Medley, formerly of Real Housewives of New York. The pair appeared in the trailer for Celebrity Weakest Link.
The trailer for a new season of Celebrity Weakest Link features a unique collection of TV stars, celebrity friends, and some of our reality faves. Hosted by Jane Lynch, who is a pro at roasting people, it’s sure to be a lot of fun. Between Housewives and TV Moms, some of the best reality competitions feature our favorite stars slugging it out to win!
Who will be the Weakest Link among the Real Housewives?
The premise of the competition is simple. Contestants are asked questions one at a time to create a chain of right answers for a chance to accumulate up to half a million dollars in their “bank.” However, just one wrong answer will break the chain and take the team back to zero.
This means each celebrity on the team has to pull their weight or risk bringing the entire team back down to nothing and becoming the weakest link.
The trailer showcases a wide array of celebrities set to compete throughout the season, as well as highlights of successes and losses viewers can look forward to. Fans of reality TV were certain to clock Dorinda looking particularly stressed with her mouth open and her hands in her hair.
It looks like each week there is a different set of celebrities competing, starting with a mini Glee cast reunion and then going through TV Moms featuring Melinda Clarke and Ex-Wives Club featuring Tamar Braxton and Vicki. Dorinda will be on this team as well, along with Cynthia Bailey from Atlanta (although you don’t see her in the trailer).
Will a Housewife be the weakest link? I can’t wait to find out. Dorinda has a bit of experience in competition shows, although her stint on The Traitors was far too short. Fans were so upset that she’s coming back for Season 4!
So is Dorinda in her competition era? It looks like it. Can’t wait to see how the ladies do on Celebrity Weakest Link.
