The reality star has said was left baffled by her first date’s behaviour
Celebs Go Dating is preparing to broadcast an ‘outrageous’ first date that left one participant bewildered.
The E4 dating programme will return to our screens next Monday (May 4th), with a new group of celebrities entrusting their romantic lives to the experts.
Relationship specialist Paul C. Brunson is returning to the advice panel, joined by therapist Anna Williamson and sexual communication expert Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.
They will be welcoming MAFS bride Lucinda Light, rugby star James Haskell, Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan, Love Island alumnus Gabby Allen, rapper Professor Green, content creator PK Humble and television personality David Potts to the exclusive dating agency.
With only days remaining until the new series launches, former islander Gabby has hinted at an unusual first date that left her perplexed, reports the Mirror.
Speaking to Channel 4, she revealed: “I cannot wait for the first episode to come out when my first date walks into the bar holding a goldfish and I was like, ‘Is this actually happening to me right now?’
“I won’t spoil it because people need to watch it, but he said some outrageous stuff, which left me literally like, I can’t believe that this is happening. It was outrageous in a way I think he was trying to flirt with me.”
Teasing the episode further, Gabby continued: “Some of the stuff he was saying. I was like, ‘This is doing the absolute opposite.”
Yet she still commended her date, noting: “But you know what, I have to give it to him, he was absolutely hilarious and his goldfish broke the ice!
“He definitely settled me into the agency. I think the agents have done really well because all the guys that I’ve met have been lovely and I feel like they will make great partners for different people. It’s just about finding who’s right for you.”
The 34 year old reality television personality is well-versed in pursuing romance on screen, having featured on Love Island, Love Island: All Stars and Love Island Games.
While she flourished on the ITV programmes, Gabby has admitted that Celebs Go Dating has proved a more “intimate” experience.
Celebs Go Dating starts on E4 next Monday, May 4 at 9pm
