The hit Channel 4 dating series returns this year
Anna Williamson teased that Celebs Go Dating will be back “extremely soon” after fans have demanded for the hit Channel 4 show to return.
Celebs Go Dating first aired on our screens back in 2016, with a group of famous faces hoping that a dating agency would be the ones to find them love.
The first series saw Joey Essex, Tyger Drew-Honey and Charlotte Crosby hopeful that they’d go on a date that would finally be the end of their singledom.

Last year, stars like Kerry Katona and Christine McGuiness turned up at the agency, hoping that Paul C Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara could lend a helping hand.
Viewers were pleased to hear then, that earlier this year a new series of the dating show had been confirmed. Responding to fans demand, Anna took to her Instagram recently as she posed alongside her co-stars, including I’m a Celebrity finalist Tom Read Wilson.
She wrote: “Lots of messages asking when the new series of @celebsgodating is on….. EXTREMELY SOON Get ready for one hell of a rollercoaster with our celebs….tears, shocks, love, laughter, and a lot of spice (and that’s just us dating agents!!!) NEW SERIES INCOMING”.
It’s a juicy line-up this year, with the celebrities having been confirmed just two months ago. Loose Women star Coleen Nolan, rapper Professor Green, Love Island’s Gabby Allen, and Celebrity Big Brother winner David Potts will be on the Channel 4 series.
Viewers may recall that it’s not David’s first time on the series, as he first appeared at the dating agency back in 2019 where his series concluded after a whirlwind romance.
It was only a few weeks ago when Coleen updated her followers on her time with Celebs Go Dating. On her Instagram she shared: “A busy week with filming the last few scenes for @celebsgodating which I have had the best time working on, from the cast to the crew and everyone in between.. I cannot wait for you all to see the show, it’ll be out in the next few months!”
Following the success of last year’s format shake-up which saw the celebs whisked away to Ibiza at the very start of the series, giving them the chance to form genuine romantic connections away from the pressures and distractions of everyday life, the agents are once again taking them overseas.
This time, the celebs will head to sun-soaked Tenerife with their chosen dates, where stripped of routines, responsibilities and outside noise, sparks can fly and relationships can develop. But will holiday romance translate into something real once they’re back home?
