Dion, who lives with stiff-person syndrome, also wished fans a year full of “happiness and peace in your heart”
Céline Dion took a moment to send fans some love as they get ready to ring in 2026. On Wednesday, the music icon shared a video thanking supporters for keeping her “in their hearts” as she continues to live with stiff-person syndrome.
“As we welcome this new year, I want to take a moment to send you all my love. May this year bring you good health, happiness, and peace in your heart,” Dion says in the video. “I hope you find laughter in the little things, strength in the hard times, and joy in the memories you create with those you love.”
“Thank you for keeping me in your hearts. You are always in mine. From my family to yours, I just want to wish you a happy new year,” the singer said before blowing the camera a kiss.
The new video comes a week after the vocalist dressed up as the Grinch to wish fans a happy Christmas, singing “All By Myself,” but Grinchified. “Of course, if I bumped my creative ideas to 9, I’ll still have time to lie in bed and scroll TikTok videos endlessly,” she said in that video. “Or, I can just simply wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”
Dion has continued to battle stiff-person disorder, a rare disease that attacks the nervous system and causes pain and muscle spasms. She gave fans a look at how the disease affected her mobility and voice in the 2024 Amazon Prime documentary I Am: Celine Dion, and has said that she’s learning to live with the disease.
