Chanel West Coast is riding off into a new sunset.
The former Ridiculousness host—who made her country music debut in 2025 after exiting the MTV show—released her new song “Giddy Up” Feb. 13, featuring DJ Flict.
“‘Giddy Up’ is a country-pop record, but it’s really about bridging worlds,” Chanel explained in a statement to FanFix shared with E! News. “I wanted it to feel familiar to country fans while still hitting for pop, hip-hop, and dance listeners too. It’s meant to be the kind of song you put on to have a good time. Music should bring people together, and with ‘Giddy Up,’ I just wanted to make something that feels good no matter what genre you usually listen to.”
Indeed, the track includes a slightly hip hop beat on top of the country elements in the lyrics, with the chorus including the slightly raunchy, “Giddy up / Get up on that thang,” as well as “Tighten up on them reigns.”
